A Memorable Evening of Dialogue, Unity, and Shared Meals!

Under the “Youth Initiative for Equality,” a special programme was organized on 26 November, the auspicious occasion of Indian Constitution Day, at Ambedkar Park, Kanshiram Awas, Shivpur, Varanasi. The event was part of the ongoing 16-Day Campaign. A vibrant group of 70 enthusiastic young participants came together to make the evening truly meaningful.

Interactive Discussion:
A thoughtful dialogue was held on the Fundamental Rights, Duties, and the significance of Constitutional values in our daily lives.

Community Kitchen (Sajha Chulha):
Youth participants took the lead in setting up a shared community kitchen. They brought grains, vegetables, spices, and dry wood from their homes and cooked together—breaking all barriers of caste, religion, and gender. Sharing this collectively cooked meal fostered a strong sense of unity and cooperation.

Flame of Change:
Through a symbolic activity, each participant lit a piece of wood, contributing to a collective “Flame of Change,” symbolizing their commitment to building a better and more just society.

The programme aimed to strengthen young people’s understanding of secularism, unity, and brotherhood, while nurturing leadership qualities among them. We are delighted that the event succeeded in achieving these objectives! Let us all embrace the values enshrined in our Constitution and work together to build a just, inclusive, and harmonious society.
