Heritage Walk Inspires Youth with New Learning and Leadership Exposure

Under the Youth Initiative for Equality project, a two-day Varanasi Heritage Walk was organized on 7 and 9 November 2025 with 82 young participants (33 boys and 49 girls). The group visited Sant Kabir Math, Sant Ravidas Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, and Sarnath, where they learned about the city’s rich cultural legacy and the values of Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb. The programme was also a completely new experience for these young minds, offering fresh learning and valuable exposure beyond their everyday environment. Aimed at promoting mutual understanding, harmony, and brotherhood among youth from different communities, the visit helped participants develop confidence, strengthen unity, and enhance leadership skills by drawing inspiration from the teachings and contributions of great personalities associated with Varanasi’s heritage.
